John’s parents knew that he was destined for a career caring for animals when, at the age of 8, he claimed responsibility for the flatulence of their family dog, Rigby, so that the dog wouldn’t have to leave the room. Growing up in Perth, he studied Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney, and his love of animals has since taken him on adventures to Southern Africa, Panama, Brazil and the United Kingdom. John and his wife, Katy, have returned to Perth to raise three beautiful children; Angus, Sophia and William. John has a keen interest in Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue Surgery, and for him, the greatest reward is a wagging tail!
