As a small, locally-owned business, we're incredibly grateful for your support during the COVID-19 outbreak, and we will continue to support you however we can. A lot of businesses are making changes to keep our community safer, and we’re no exception.
At this stage there are no plans to close our doors, and if you are concerned about your pet for any reason, we are here for you. Necessary vaccinations, tests, procedures and surgeries will still go ahead.
However, if you yourself have had any flu-like symptoms, in particular a cough or a sore throat, please let our staff know over the phone, so that we can take precautions.
Furthermore, to reduce exposure to COVID-19 and potentiate our human hospitals, as of Tuesday the 29th of June until Friday the 2nd of July, The Floreat Vet has made the decision to “go drive thru”.
In some ways it’s even more convenient for you - but this is how it will work:

In our carpark, we will have a “drop off lead hook” for dogs, and a “drop off bay” for cats and other pets in cages. Your pets will be brought inside by hospital staff.

We’ll communicate with you by phone or through your cracked vehicle window. This is to minimise human contact - keeping you and our hospital employees as healthy as possible.

We recommend payment by phone or credit card, which are more easily sanitised, and which we can do in the carpark.
