Spring time Magpie chicks

Lots of baby birds are leaving the nest around this time. Most baby birds don’t fly straight away and need time to strengthen their wing muscles. The parent bird will continue to feed the baby while it is on the ground, but you might see them floundering around on the ground by themselves. Please do not remove a baby bird unless it is injured or is in immediate danger. The parent bird is the best teacher to these babies! Just enjoy watching them grow.
