Dr. Tony Smith

BSc DVM

Tony is originally from the Pacific Northwest of the United States. After several years working in human healthcare he decided it was time to make a change and pursue his first love of working with animals. He is a 2022 graduate of Murdoch University and has joined the Floreat Team after 18 months as a new graduate vet in Cairns, QLD.
He enjoys all things general practice but has special interests in wildlife conservation, medicine, palliative care, and surgery.
Outside of work he is busy trying to keep up with his goofball of a dog Mo, enjoying the beach and anything outdoors, cooking, gardening and spending time with his partner Eve.
